TACA Gives Out Record $1.3 Million in Grants to North Texas Performing Arts Organizations in 2013
Dallas' premier umbrella arts organization TACA, The Arts Community Alliance, had a banner year fundraising in 2012, allowing the organization to distribute $1.3 million to diverse and deserving North Texas performing arts organizations. Of that amount, $1.2 million was distributed on January 28 at the TACA Grant Awards Presentation, presented by Bank of Texas, at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. [read more]

Chaired by Kristi and Ron Hoyl and Lisa and Bill Ogle, TACA Lexus Party on the Green was held on Friday, May 4th. Twenty acclaimed chefs from Dallas and around the world prepared gourmet dishes for nearly 700 people who turned out for a glorious evening in the spring breeze, under the stars and a few sparkles of lightning—to sample delicacies including Duck Carnitas Tacos, Pork with Purslane and Cantaloupe, and Seven-Spice-Crusted Tuna Sashimi.
