GUESTS WINED AND DINED AT TACA LEXUS PARTY ON THE GREEN
TO SUPPORT THE PERFORMING ARTS

DALLAS, Texas — May 15, 2012 — Chaired by Kristi and Ron Hoyl and Lisa and Bill Ogle, TACA Lexus Party on the Green was held on Friday, May 4th. Twenty acclaimed chefs from Dallas and around the world prepared gourmet dishes for nearly 700 people who turned out for a glorious evening in the spring breeze, under the stars and a few sparkles of lightning—to sample delicacies including Duck Carnitas Tacos, Pork with Purslane and Cantaloupe, and Seven-Spice-Crusted Tuna Sashimi.

For his Whitefish with Citrus Salsa, Chef Matt Raso of Nobu at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel here in Dallas won the coveted Golden Skillet Award. His signature dish was judged the winner by popular culinary blogger Brad Murano, food photographer Robert Peacock and writer/stylist Denise Gee, and Dallas/Fort Worth food editor Meda Kessler.

Chair Lisa Ogle surprised the guests with flamenco dancers who greeted everyone at the entrance. Evening entertainment was provided by the Tony Hakim Quintet. Participants tried their luck at a wine cork pull for chances to receive some rare wines, and lined up for candid photos at the Lexus Photo Stand. Later in the evening, Chair Bill Ogle drew the name of the lucky winner of a 2012 Lexus IS 250 convertible. The evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display in the skies over Turtle Creek.
