TACA Organization

TACA Beneficiaries

When foundations, corporations or individuals make a gift to TACA, they can be assured that the gift is being leveraged through numerous performing arts groups. TACA works with a dynamic group of volunteers to evaluate each agency’s application using the following criteria: artistic merit, administrative/fiscal responsibility, service to the community, and community support and participation. TACA strives to distribute funds where they will have the most impact and nurture artistic excellence in the various performing arts disciplines.

In January, TACA awarded $1,200,000 in grants to a diverse group of North Texas' performing arts organizations, from the very large and established to the newly emerging. An additional $100,000 from the Donna Wilhelm Family New Works Fund will be awarded in June. This represents the sixth consecutive year that TACA has contributed $1,000,000 or more to the North Texas performing arts community.
