TACA plays a vital role in supporting and nurturing the Dallas performing arts community. In addition to providing financial support to nearly 50 local performing arts organizations, TACA also creates opportunities for arts organizations to collaborate and share resources. The 2016 TACA Perforum is the eighth annual symposium for experts from across the country to gather and to engage Dallas-based arts organizations about the issues facing them.
TACA Perforum: Amplifier Workshops
At TACA Perforum in 2014, panelist Sandra Jackson-Dumont of the Metropolitan Museum of Art commented that arts organizations often don’t know where to go when in need of ideas, best practices, or resource sharing. To address this need in our North Texas arts and culture community, TACA is excited to announce a new offering, TACA Perforum: Amplifier Workshops.
The Amplifier Workshops are a series of interactive sessions aimed at providing local arts and cultural organizations access to expertise on specific topics that may otherwise be difficult to access on an individual basis. TACA curates four to six unique workshops annually, covering topics that range from marketing to data to engagement, all with the ultimate goal of enabling sustainable artistic excellence in North Texas.
North Texas Cultural Co-op
The North Texas Cultural Co-op (NTCC) is an online network of regional cultural organizations that enables the secure sharing of patron data through a powerful database, the TRG Data Center, built and operated by TRG Arts. NTCC membership is open to regional, nonprofit cultural organizations and made possible by TACA. This online tool gives member organizations access to permission-based list trading, analysis and reporting, and data hygiene, all at your fingertips!
